Greetings, friends. 

Sorry I haven't updated this blog in a while.  My show of 16 September was my last for WVEW.  I am now producing shows for a new stream on WFMU -- Give the Drummer Radio. The show, Busy Doing Nothing with Charlie, debuted on 4 November, and the second one will air this Thursday, 18 November.  The show can be heard live, every other Thursday morning, from 9-11AM (eastern US time), on Give the Drummer Radio.  Here is the link to listen to the stream live. 

During the show, I will also create a live accu-playlist (although I am pre-recording the shows at home), and participate with you in the comments.  You can access the playlist during the show from my WFMU playlist page, or through a link on the WFMU home page, which will appear just below the links for the DJ who is on WFMU's live air stream -- and I'd love for you to join in the comments during the show!  All shows and playlists will also be archived on my playlist page, and you can leave comments on the playlist at any time. 

Busy Doing Nothing is a cavalcade of anachronisms, contemporary ephemera, and freeform whatnot -- a show that fell off the back of a truck.  Give the Drummer Radio can be heard 24/7 (here's the listen link again), streaming great music lovingly curated by Doug "Give the Drummer Some" Schulkind.  (You can also hear Doug live on the stream, Friday mornings, 9AM to noon, and Tuesday evenings, 6-7PM.)
